MILL09 is a system comprising a control unit, level sensor (capacitive and ultrasound), a motoinverter and an operating panel. It has multiple configurations that depend on the configuration and type of rolling mill. It requires no maintenance nor internal regulation. All operator or service functions (the latter with a password) are accessible with the keyboard. MILL09 is generally combined with a capacitive or ultrasound probe to measure the product level.
BER designs and manufactures different types of level sensors for the general milling and industrial sector. For the milling sector an example of a capacitive probe with analogue output is shown, to control the hopper level of the rolling mill. However, there are other types of probes: ultrasound, infrared, etc…
